StelKast Provident^™ Hip Stem

The Provident™ hip stem incorporates a press fit in the medial and lateral directions and a flat tapered distal geometry to provide stabilization of the axis. In order to achieve optimal fixation, the collarless design of the titanium stem allows for self seating of the implant. The proximal portion of the stem is textured with a plasma sprayed titanium alloy. To accommodate a range of anatomical conditions, the Provident stem is available in numerous sizes with either a standard or lateralized version. The lateral offset stem gives the surgeon more options to improve stability without sacrificing leg length equality.

The Provident™ Hip Stem offers a press-fit option which will allow choice of standard or lateralized neck offsets while keeping a constant leg length.
